Media Center's Mission
The media center contains a variety of print and non-print materials, which have been selected to enrich the school curriculum. These materials reflect the technological advances taking place in instruction. The mission of the library media program is to ensure that students and staff are effective users of these resources.
To accomplish this mission, the media specialist seeks to:
1. provide a pleasant atmosphere for research, studying, and reading.
2. circulate print and non-print instructional materials.
3. assist students in research.
4. teach media skills.
5. assist teachers through collaborative planning.
6. maintain a variety of equipment and materials to be used by students and teachers.
